FLAWLESS - September 2007 - Nicholas Nelson

1. When did you first take an interest in equestrian sports? I have had an interest in horses as far back as I can remember. I started riding at the age of 7.

2. What excites you most about horses? Wow! There are so many things... I would say I get the most overwhelmed when I see a horse and rider combination competing in a perfect state of harmony. That is truly what this sport is about. Seeing and creating a connection between horses and people is beautiful to me.

3. How much was the most expensive horse you've ever ridden? $60,000 - $70,000

4. What are the top 7 songs in your ipod right now? OH boy, when I see this question I think ... Do I tell the truth and reveal what a nerd I am ha ha…
Mahalia Jackson: In the Upper Room and Sweet Hour of Prayer.
Red Hot Chili Peppers: Californication

Reba MacEntire: Fancy Don't Let Me Down
Teddy Pendergrass: My Greatest Inspiration
Keyshia Cole, Missy and Lil’ Kim: Let It Go
(My i-pod sounds like it has turrets lol but I have a very eclectic taste in music, everything from country to gospel, rock and rap!)

5. Besides horseback riding, what other things bring you joy? When I see a photograph that makes me feel as if I have been to a place that I have never been, or makes me imagine what a that person’s lifestyle or story is. I get inspired about my modeling work. It’s about transporting the audience from wherever they are to an imagined place you created in your photograph. And it brings me joy to perfect my talent in doing so.

6. Who do you think is the strongest contender in the upcoming election and why? It is between Hillary and Obama. But I would like Hillary to win. Our country is at a point were we need MAJOR reconstruction in a multitude of areas and I feel Hillary has the experience and backing to bring about those changes.

7. What is your biggest fear in life right now? I don't fear very many things. But, loosing my mind would be it for me. Anything else can be replaced, repaired or adapted to but once you lose your mind you are gone forever.
